Yes, I didn’t think I’d have two copies but was wondering which ones were
better kb256 copies. Thanks.

in your music after itunes match

Hi Larry,
I'm not sure what you mean with her question. You will only have one copy of
each item after iTunes match is done. Were you thinking you would have two
copies, when the original and the other one from the server? Or were you
wondering how to tell which of the songs is from the server and which is still
your original after the match is done? I'm actually not sure anymore how to do
that. It seems to me that it used to say next to the song something about cloud
or local or match or something. I can't remember. But mine doesn't say that
anymore and hasn't for sometime. Generally speaking, if the things that you are
matching were all ripped from CDs, and you did it at a high bit rate, the
server will probably not replace what you had. But if you ripped it at say 120
8K bps, then those will be replaced, assuming they are in the Apple music
collection and can therefore be replaced. Otherwise, those will just be
uploaded to the cloud and will be available to you on all of your i-devices and
your PC of course.
Mary
