Ost" YOU have to fold the end that doesn't have the legs at the bottom sort of in half. There's a little slot that it goes into. There's a flap on the back that pushes out that allows the folded part to slide into. I'm not explaining it very well, and I'm sorry, but I hope that helps a little. When it's set up, there will be a kind of shelf that your phone sits on top of. Hth
