Yes, Rose, I know it works with Windows but didn't think about it
working with the iPhone.

I thought I would try to shorten things a little whilst using this feature
today. I therefore selected the text I wished to delete but did not delete it.
Instead I started to type the text I wanted and noticed that, as I tapped the
first letter, the selection was deleted and I was able to complete my words
correctly. Yes, this was neat! This saved me a little work and that is always a
good thing!!
