Ed, While I see your point, I also feel that there is absolutely nothing wrong with people expressing what they would like to see in a future product, especially since this is not just some off-the-wall rumor from a non-reputable source.
No one is panicking here. It looks to me as if everyone is managing themselves quite well in fact and simply considering offering some feedback that Apple can use. -Know what I mean? This is, after all, what the feedback link is for, is it not? This link is for anyone to use, be they blind, visually impaired, or simply a non-disabled person who wants to share their thoughts.
