Outlook for iOS is actually a solid app with excellent accessibility overall.
There is one major bug however that has stopped me from making it my default
app though. When composing or replying to a message, you can’t go back and edit
text. If you navigate by character or word, VO is silent. You do hear the click
noises, but that’s it. The iOS Gmail app does the same thing.

One other thing that isn’t really a bug, but just something that could be
cleaned up for an easier Voiceover user experience is in the colander tab, VO
announces the full date at the beginning of an appointment even though you can
already flick by day in the agenda view. Too much chatter that gets in the way.

App updates are fairly regular and Voiceover improvements have indeed been
made, but that annoying inability to edit text issue is still there.

Subject: IPhone 5s And Outlook App

Hi friends,

I have been using the mail app with my IPhone for quite some time now and it is
very easy, straight forward and accessible but a colleague mentioned the
Outlook client for the IPhone and the fact that it has more functionality.

Does anyone know if the Outlook client is accessible and easy to use?

Many thanks in anticipation,
