Yes, I use text for my own personal documents that don't need to be
formatted. DB seems to read mine this way.

I would certainly do a SaveAs and save to plain text for this. They should
open in the Notes app, and work how you want. I keep
nearly everything in plain text since DOS days.

I posted this question previously. If someone could please help, I would
appreciate it very much.
I would like to transfer my recipes and knitting patterns from my windows
computer to Drop Box. I saved the documents in msword. I was hoping to be
able to just slide my finger down the left edge and read down line-by-line.
It doesn't seem to be working very well at all. Should I save the documents
in txt instead of msword?
