I still feel that DigitEyes is the best bar code scanning app. The thing to remember, is to start with the phone against the item you are scanning, start the app scanning and then slowly pull the phone back and most of the time, before you get 8 or 10 inches away it has recognized the bar code. Of course, I'm assuming you are starting from about the place you think the bar code is located. If you just want to go by a picture of the item, rather than bar code, I like CamFind. Richard
