How many 9.x updates there will be nobody knows, but there will definitely be more beyond 9.2 and most likely there may also be double dot updates, e.g. 9.2.1. We are only 3 months past the first public release of iOS 9, most likely about 6 months away from Apple’s WWDC where iOS 10 will be announced and a full 9 months away from iOS 10 getting out to the public.
