Even without access to this fine-tuning feature the system is still quite
easy to setup and provides great sound output in my humble view.
Just my two cents no one asked for.

I had to have help to do this with saround sound systems I have had in the
past and it did make a huge difference. It would be a shame if we couldn't
find a work around to do this independantly, especially when you can easily
move Sonos speakers from room to room.

That is correct, I have been beta testing for Sonos for some years now and
TruePlay is not currently supported when Voiceover is running.

I can confirm your experience. From what I'm told this is normal behavior
for now.
I've been told that they haven't figured how to get it to work properly
without VoiceOver interfering with it. So the app detects when VoiceOver
is running and the button for it is hidden.
If this isn't fully accurate or if there's been an update I'm sure others
who know more than do I will chime in and elaborate. I hope this helps.

As you probably know, at least you who have Sonos, they recently
introduced a feature they call ”True play” which apparently is some kind
of compensation for the room in which your Sonos player is. This feature
has a setting where you set the Trueplay thingy up, only this feature isn’t
accessible. I can not see the button for it at all. It’s supposed to be
under the room setting and EQ but it isn’t accessible. This is on the
iPhone in the Sonos app.
Could anyone confirm this or tell if there’s a workaround of some sort?
