Yes, there is an iOS accessible weather station, it’s called the “Netatmo
Weather Station”. However, if all you want is indoor temperature then this may
be more than you need and more than you want to spend since the basic setup
which includes the main indoor module and one wireless outdoor module costs
$179 US.

The indoor module will give you current as well as minimum and maximum
temperature for the day, humidity, CO2 level, noise level and air pressure
(this of course is the same for indoor and outdoor). The outdoor module gives
you outdoor temperature including minimum and maximum for the day, felt like
temperature, outdoor humidity and, if available from an official weather
station nearby, air quality. You can add up to 3 additional indoor modules, a
rain gauge and a wind speed sensor will be available very soon. Each of these
costs $79.

Currently the newest update of the app is a bit awkward to use with Voiceover,
you can still get all the information, but not as smoothly as before. I
originally purchased this when it first came out and probably was the first
blind person to buy it. The app then was barely useable and I contacted the
company. Their head developer who is in Paris, France (that’s where the company
is located) reached out to me and over the course of a few months, many emails
and some Skype conversations the app was very accessible. I have had little
time, but I will definitely reach out to him again since I have the station, an
extra indoor module and the rain gauge and they have to make this a bit easier
and more intuitive again for Voiceover users.

Best regards,

Sieghard

Subject: Re: App To Tell Indoor temperature?

the iPhones do not have a way to do this.

There are talking thermometers that can give you inside and/or outside temps.

I believe there is at least one that can communicate with the iPhone through an
app.

Is there an app to give me the indoor temperature? I have searched in the app
store, but they all seem to want to tell me the outdoor temperature, whose
value I already can get through several sources. I don't mind if it has the
outdoor temperature, too. Or, does my iPhone 6 even have a way to determine
temperature? Thanks for any suggestions.
