May I ask why you want to switch and not just settle on either using the Skype Id or the Microsoft Id permanently? You can also link your Microsoft account to your Skype account, go to the My Info tab at the bottom right of the Skype app, choose the “My Account” button, and then “Account Settings”. I just also had a look what I get when I sign out and while there is only one login field and password field, I assume you can probably use either y our Skype Id and Password here to your Microsoft Id and Password.
