Hello, OK, here's what I mean. Flick To Rotate language, and flick down to either Australia, UK, Africa, anything but Default. The US will also work. As long as its not default. And yes, that means you can use US voices. When I had auto switching, putting Samantha to US, flicking the language to US (the voice language) I have not seen 1 single language switch, ever since.
