My apple Bluetooth keyboard has suffered similarly. For me the only thing that works is to have the keyboard turned off, then turn Bluetooth on on my Mac or iPhone and then, instead of simply pressing the keyboard power button briefly, hold that power button in constantly until I have entered the requested code and the pairing process is complete. No idea why but others also have this problem and I found this solution out on the Internet and it works for me! Harry
