Hi!
If I'm remembering well, someone sent you a podcast to download via SendSpace in the last few days.
Regarding Shuffle description, it's easy and simple. You have a square case with the belt clip on the back side and the round shaped buttons on the front. The correct way to hold and operate it is when the side buttons are up and you facing the round buttons.
So, on a top side there are two things; on the right is three-position switch where you select between off, normal and shuffle playback and the button in top side center is Voice Over button.
On the front side you have circle with four functions plus the center round button. If you compare the circle with a clock, than the 12 o'clock position is volume up, 3 o'clock is next/ff, 6 o'clock is volume down and the 9 o'clock is previous/rewind.
The center button is play/pause.
If you press and hold the play/pause button during playback you can lock or unlock the keys.
Hate iTunes or not, it is the only safe and reliable solution to operate and transfer data between PC and iDevices so my suggestion is to get used to it.

S poštovanjem
