Hello Paul, The StandScan is great for documents that lie flat, but there is nothing to compare with the Fopydo plus Book Reading Aid for reading books. Also, the Fopydo sits firmly on my lap whereas the StandScan needs a flat surface to be stable. Since I use KNFBReader, I don’t need the lighting provided by the StandScan.
