Thanks, will try this later, have to find batteries! I know I have some but where someone moved them without telling me is the question, cousin does it a lot and then tells me it is right here or over there! So helpful, same one who can't describe a picture says she can't verbalize it.

I can't help with the ear phones as I don't own after shocks. For the keyboard, there is a small sliding switch on the back near the top edge in the center. Holding the keyboard the correct way up (like you are ready to type) feel along the top in back about an inch down from the edge. When the button is to the left, the keyboard is off, when it's to the right it is on. I think you do have to type in a code to pair, but I don't recall needing sighted help to do it.
