if your problem persists and nobody here can give you answers you might have to backup your voice dream library and then uninstall and reinstall the app and then add your backed up VD library back to voice Dream reader. I have successfully done this procedure in the past. The instructions on how to do this are somewhere on the voice Dream Reader website. Also, you could try contacting the developer.
