Some level of executeable can be passed by sms as that is how the telco
provider passes and configures their server settings on your
device. Do not open and run, there's no telling what proxies you end up with if
you do.

Subject: possible spam targeting iphones via sms?

   hi list.

I am in the UK, and an iphone user. For the second time today, I have recieved
a text message that strikes me as possible spam or
worse. The message just has a phone number and says something like, you have
missed 1 message from apple, with a link that just
seems to be a series of numbers and another link that says unsubscribe. I have
not subscribed to anything. I called apple, who
stated they do not use text messages to contact their customers.

Does anyone have any idea what this is\? I have not and will not click on any
links.
Does anyone know if this is spam\?
Many thanks

Dave.
