Hi David. No, this is a bug with the USA Today app. I'd encourage you to report it to the USA Today developers as a bug with use of VoiceOver. The more people who contact them, the more likely it'll actually get fixed. I think the issue is related to the adds that are now in the app, but I'm not certain. If you have installed an older version of this app after version 2 and can, you may just want to revert back to that older version.
