This has probably been discussed on here before, but I came across a Twitter
post about it today.

Changing our signal strength to read in bars & DBM. What I’m curious about is
having a better understanding of the information. Also, is this strictly for
data or is it also phone call quality?

The podcaster said something like the worst he saw was -140DBM, basically 1 out
of 5 bars. The best he saw was -40DBM, 5 out of 5.

Lol, I have VZW & inside my house my DBM reading is -110. Pretty crappy,
right? ;) I already knew this, but it was interesting to read it in a new
way. When I went upstairs my status improved to -102. Lol!

So, would this translate across the board? Weather you are on tMobile, Sprint,
VZW, etc.?

BTW, I like how I can double tap the status bar & get right back to the
traditional bar reading if I want.

Thanks,
Traci
