You should be able to using the web interface. I haven't done it myself,
but according to https://www.dropbox.com/en/help/90 you should be able
to just click on the upload button and then select the file you want to
upload. I'd assume you could also use the web interface to delete a file
as well.

If you go to dropbox preferences in the system menu, you can go to selective
sync. Uncheck the folders that you do not want synced.

Wile I ove Dropbox, the fact that a copy of whatever I sync to it remains on my
computer is a bit problematic. I have a smallish solid-state drive in my
computer, which is while I'd like some sort of cloud storage solution that let
me dump a bunch of stuff in it without that stuff also having to be on my SSD,
if that makes sense. I think Google Drive may do something like this, but I'm
not sure. Any help with this is greatly appreciated!
