Hello Melissa, Getting a new WiFi modem is a major change.
When I think of Air Play, I generally think, Apple TV. Is that your objective? To stream media to an Apple TV? Since you have a new WiFi modem, you may need to unplug your Apple TV for about 45 seconds or so, then, reboot it. Make certain that all of your devices are on the same network. Please keep in mind that just because each device has access to the Internet via the modem, does not mean that they are on the same network. They probably are but not necessarily so.
