I know I'm not answering your question, but on the off chance this will help, you can use handwriting mode to find an app on one of your home pages or in one of your folders. Just switch the roter to handwriting mode and then start spelling the app you're looking for. It should come up in the list you can move through with two finger flicks down. It won't tell you what folder the app is in though. BTW, I haven't noticed this change in spotlight search, but I haven't sued it much lately.

Hello all,

First of all, thank you to the many of you who provide such valuable
information on this list.

I have 15 pages of apps on my iPhone and always used to access spotlight search
to find the app I want to open. Lately, though, I often get no results upon
inserting the first few letters of the name. Has something changed with this
function that went unnoticed by me?

Thanks in advance for any help or insight on this issue.
