I can do direct touch typing just fine, and I have no vision. I use it
with autocorrect and spell check on though, so that helps a lot.

For the onscreen keyboard, I use direct touch typing, and for
braille screen input I use tabletop mode.

Hi afick, i suggest to you to type in touch typing mode. In hebrew
it translated to ""blind mode" i use in this way and i am not use
my other hand.
It could be hard in the start, but with practis again and again it
will be easier.
