Hi, Your original authorization was probably lost in the reformatting process. It's best to de-authorize programs like iTunes before doing a reformat.
To get the authorization back, you can de-authorize all your computers and re-authorize the ones you are actually using. I think you can only de-authorize all your computers once a year though.
