I think it is supposed to work in theory if you do an encrypted iTunes backup. I did that, and I lost my iVona voices, and my attempt to reinstall them last year was a miserable failure. I tried more than once with the same result. However, I had a discussion on list at that time, and there were others who had not had this problem. So good luck. Mary
