Hi Bill, the native Twitter app is quite accessible, but you may outgrow it quickly. In my view, the value of Twitter is much greater when you can read tweets in the order they were sent. For example, if you're following a breaking news story, using a hashtag or list, seeing the story unfold in the correct order is a much better experience than reading the most recent tweet first. It's very hard to do this with Twitter's own app. Either Twitterific or Tweetings will give you a wider range of options, and both try to keep your place in your timeline so you can read in the correct order. I make use of a lot of Twitter lists. For example, I'm a keen follower of politics around the world, so I have a list of US political reporters and candidates which I pay particular attention to on primary days. Tweetings seems to do a much better job at keeping my places in lists than does Twitterific. Recently, I produced a 45 minute podcast on Tweetings for AppleVis which covers how to get started and how to use it. On my company's website, Mosen Consulting, I also have e n eBook for purchase called Tweeting Blind, which is a guide to Twitter from a blindness perspective. Hope that helps.
