Hi Mary, Why not give iOS Inbox by Gmail <https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/inbox-by-gmail-new-email-app/id905060486?mt=8> a try, where it doesn’t have this hanging issue, and has some really awesome features that makes email “productive & fun”.
