Hello Chris, Twitter list is a good way of organizing who you follow on twitter. I mainly use list and I love it. For example, I have a list called news, and I have all of the different news people and organizations that I follow associated with this list. So if I want to get the latest news tweets, then I just go to this list. I have another list called adaptive tech, and this is of coarse a list made up of any person or company associated with adaptive technology. So when I want to check out the recent tweets associated with adaptive tech, I just go to this list.
So instead of having everything in one single big list, you have things divided into different categories. This can also help in making sure that you do not miss a tweet because it is way down in your big list, but would be closer to the top if divided into categories. Now how to make list and add people you follow to the list can vary depending on what you use for a twitter client. But I hope this has helped you understand a little more about twitter list.
