Hello list,

This question is kind of a spinoff of another thread about fitbit tracker
accessibility for step counting.

Does anyone know of an accessible activity tracker that can be used for
other activities such as rowing, stationary bike useage or with an
elliptical and exercises of this nature?

It looks like for walking/running, there are enough options out there. Be it
a standalone device or even apps like iTreadmill, etc. But what if you’re
interested in other types of exercise?

I don’t want to pay a premium on equipment for fancy shmancy digital screens
and whatnot that I can’t really access anyway and am not sure how if all are
accurate to begin with.

A simple upright stationary bike or rower or basic elliptical would more
than fit my needs if I had an accessible means of tracking progress be it
with an iOS app associated with a third party device or if one of the newer
iPhones could do it by itself. I’m not terribly keen on getting an Apple
Watch and haven’t heard much if anything on whether one can be used to track
these types of exercises either.

Does anyone know of anything that is accessible? Be it by itself or through
an iOS app?

Thanks,
