You have to hit the back button, which is, more or less, in the lower left
hand corner of the screen, until you get back to the beginning screen,
before you can do another voice search via the voice search button. However,
if you have set it up so that Okay Google will work, you can say Okay google
to start another search, without having to go back to the beginning screen.
Incidentally, VoiceOver often says cancel button after I say Okay Google, so
I turn speech off with the three-finger double tap toggle, or use
headphones, to avoid confusing google.

I don't use the Google app that often, because it is more convenient to use
Siri. But since I had heard that Google has introduced a new voice, I
decided to try it. So, I asked Google for the weather, which read,
confirming that there is in fact a new voice. Then I wanted to ask it
something else, but I can't find the voice search button anymore. I can
clear, or cancel, or whatever, but that voice search button is gone. What am
I missing? Can you really only do one voice search once you have open the
Google app? That seems strange.
