Well, Sieghard, I'll be talking to Apple Accessibility about this as well when I speak to them about my reorganizing the rotor issue. The fact that you have to have hints enabled for this feature to work with VO is nonsensical. I mean, don't the preview lines show up for sighted people, as well as blind people? When I think VO hint, I think of stuff that's useful for visually impaired people who're using VO, not the way we access a mainstream feature altogether. I mean, sighted people don't need a hint to tap once on an icon to activate it, and they certainly don't use the rotor and actions to accomplish things, like, for instance, deleting mail; so those hints wouldn't apply to them.
