Hello. You will need to drag the apps out of the folder. To do
this:
1. Open the folder.
2. Double-tap and hold on the app. Wait for Voiceover to
announce that you are moving the app.
3. Quickly swipe to the left. This should remove the app from
the folder. Once both apps are out of the folder, it should
disappear.

Subject: Fixing an inadvertent folder
Hi,
I was trying to make room in my Dock by removing the unused
Messages app
from the Dock, but when I moved it, it somehow created a
Utilities
folder containing Settings app and Messages app.
I'd like to un-folderize these apps so they are again separate
apps on
my screens. How can I do that?
Thanks in advance.
Keith
