Since no one else is really having this problem, I think this is what I would try:
1, Empty the app switcher, then shut down my phone for a couple of minutes, then restart it. 2, If that makes no difference, I would delete the Zello app, restart my phone, then redownload the Zello app. 3, If still no difference, then I would consider a reset, holding down the home button and the power button at the same time for about 10 seconds. Sounds like the audio ducking is kicking in to bring down the volume of VO, but not turning off to let VO go back to its normal volume. Not sure what else to try.
