Hi Maria, In order to fully answer your question, I would need a bit more information: Basically, does this person have enough useable vision to benefit from the full screen of an iPad? Once I know that I should be able to help your friend make her decision. Also, the person who told her that the iPad did not have VoiceOver didn't know what he/she is talking about. All of the i devices have VoiceOver.
