Sandy, You cannot read in the background using VoiceOver, which is what you are trying to do by using the two finger flick down. That is the same as opening an Email and doing a two finger flick down in the message. If you have speak screen turned on, you could try flick down with two fingers at the status bar, then you could read in background but I'm doubting you would get the page changes, though you might.
Did you go in and restore your purchases in Voice Dream? I suspect your Italian voice will come back if you do. If it doesn't, then, again, write to Winston. Voices had to be re-downloaded with version 4, but there may be some other glitch here. HTH, Richard As for getting the Enhanced Daniel working within Voice Dream, I could not do that either.
