Hello Terri, There are several reasons why you could be seeing an increase in the amount of messages being marked as spam.
It's best to troubleshoot using the most obvious assumptions, first. For example, on what device are the messages being marked as spam? If you are seeing messages being marked as spam on your Mac, in the native Mail client, (best case scenario), then simply go into Mail preferences and disable junk mail filtering. My point, be certain that you have disabled or manually configured each mail client on each device in which messages are being marked as spam. If, on the other hand, your clients are not responsible, then you will need to configure junk/spam filtering from the mail service provider. This is to say, if you are using Google, Microsoft, iCloud, etc, then you will need to login to the system using your preferred web browser and configure the settings from there. I am on at least 8 lists, all for different types of things. One of my lists was very quiet, which is rather odd. So I contacted the list, and people had said that it had been a little quieter. When I still noticed there was an issue, I contacted the owner of the list. He assured me everything was fine. However, I have all of a sudden realized that a lot of my mail, is for some reason, going to my Spam folder. I do not understand why all of a sudden this is happening. What could be going on? How can I fix it? Is that possible? I also noticed that a lot of mail that comes in to my inbox, says that it is spam, or has been marked as such. But it is not Spam. So this issue is really frustrating the heck out of me! Could anyone please help? Thank you very much! Terri -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
