I understand what you're saying, sieghard. I do not think there is as much 
difference security wise between the platforms as there used to be. Google is 
getting better about security. If you don't route your device, and don't get 
apps from places that are not the play store, your chances of getting a virus 
are much less. I still think it is more than iOS. But I'm not sure why that 
would be a problem for Apple to let us have thumb drives that we can actually 
use for  expand storage and access like you can drive on your Mac, four
