The down load process still was stuck and I had to pause it for later. Last night I got the iOS 9.3.2 update automatically and then when I went back to finish the Weather Channel down load the phone said it couldn’t connect and the app couldn’t be purchased now, even though it was the free one. I’ve had this happen before, though not exactly like this, when my credit card statement has closed and the interest makes me overdrawn. It seems that even though an app is free and its acquisition doesn’t generate a receipt, the card is still checked and if overdrawn the process is halted. Interesting how that happened between the time I picked up RainAlarm early in the morning and when I tried to get the Weather Channel app close to noon our time. I was able to fiddle with RainAlarm a bit and get some improved results by adjusting the frequency of its checks. I reduced the time frame from the default 30 minutes to 10, as things can change frequently here in FL this time of year. Note the radius can also be adjusted from the default of 22 miles, making it larger to 50 mi. or smaller to 12. I think the quality of the GPS connection can affect accuracy of all of these apps just like it can for mobility apps such as BlindSquare. So the next step will have to wait for a couple weeks, but at least I have something for that now cast function. Too bad because TWC would add lightning alerts. Incidentally, rainfall and lightning are not criteria for severe thunderstorm warnings, but hail and wind are. Hi, No once you find the icon for the app itself in the app store there should be a get button if you swipe to the right of its name or if you double tap its name in the description window of the app you’ll find it there as well. the buttons which seem to be to the left in swiping order I believe yield related searches. I mentioned I was trying to down load the free Weather channel app. I notice there are several buttons for various things such as forecasts, rain alerts, lightning and so forth under related in the search result for the weather channel to the left of where I would find the down load progress and where I could cancel if I wanted to. Do I need to double tap these to get the part of the app I want. Those buttons also include wallpaper and widgets. Very confusing.
