If you reside in the United States, you may want to consider the NFB Newsline app from the National Federation for the Blind. You need to complete an application for this free news service and have your visual impairment verified by your local talking book library. NFB Newsline affords you access to hundreds of newspapers, quite a few magazines, local television listings and several breaking news reporting services. I also regularly use the apps from National Public Radio.
