Annie, If for no other reason than to have direct access to Twitter Moments, the most exciting feature to come to Twitter in many years, I would suggest that you explore the Native Twitter app, first.
To say that it is the best app is probably not warranted for many reasons not the least of which being that many third-party apps offer enhanced feature sets that you may enjoy using. Be that as it may, were I only to use one Twitter app, I would use the native iOS Twitter app. However, as it stands, I am a big fan of Twitterific and, more recently, Tag Stalker. There are several others in the family that prefer Tweetings. If you think about it, there is absolutely no reason why you cannot install several Twitter apps on your device and use them in varying ways for various reasons.
