Hallo There!
OK, so I am in the market for a new robot vacuum cleaner. The latest, from
iRobot's Roomba range, is the 980 and it comes with an app! I want to know how
accessible it is. I downloaded the app, and it looks OK, but, because I
haven't, as yet, got the machine, needing to know if it will work for me with
the app, I can't tell if it is usable with VO.
So, my question is: does anyone have experience of the app and running the
980 Roomba. Now, before you all shout at me for profligacy, I know it costs an
arm and a leg! I can only say that I have been seduced by the hype! I have long
term experience of the Roombas and love them! This new one, not only has an app
which should help with error analysis, but will allow me to start the thing off
from anywhere and, it says, it will do the whole of one level of my house,
going back to the charger for a refuel session and then continue where it left
off.
Anyway, I am almost convinced, but, with such a large outlay, just need to
know about the accessibility.
