BTW: one can use the mobile interface at - http://m.facebook.com - which simplifies the process no end. Still do that on XP, I still have XP here. But certainly the dedicated app is the best way to use the service, and for sure there is no obvious way around those captures. In this day and age, they aren't even necessary. I've met perfectly good textual puzzles that rattle the 'bot's marbles loose.
