Thanks!2016 CABVI Social Mixer and Raft Trip You are invited to a C.A.B.V.I. social mixer on Friday, July 8 at Morgan’s Outdoor Adventure in Brookville Indiana from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Come have a blast on a rafting adventure, or enjoy activities and music in the picnic shelter. Please arrive at Morgan’s Outdoor Adventures at 10:00 a.m. The raft trip will begin at 10:30 a.m. while non-rafting guest enjoy picnic shelter activities and music. C.A.B.V.I will provide a lunch that includes sandwiches, watermelon, cookies and lemonade. Registrations are required prior to June 23, 2016. To register, call Jennifer Holladay at 513-221-8558 extension 237. Your $5 participation fee and signed waiver will be collected at the start of the event. Transportation from the C.A.B.V.I. building is available to those who indicate their transportation need when registering. You will need to arrange your own transportation to the C.A.B.V.I. building prior to 9:00 a.m. and your own transportation home from C.A.B.V.I. at 3:30 p.m. The following physical requirements must be met by anyone who plans to raft: • A maximum weight of 250 pounds. • Able to get in and out of the raft with minimal assistance. • Able to paddle the raft, all hands will be needed. • Able to walk up a short hill, and climb a series of wooden stairs at the end of the trip. • Able to walk and help move the raft down the river with the group, in case of low water. If you are unable to meet these requirements, you are still welcome to enjoy the picnic shelter activities, music, and a delicious lunch! Morgan’s Outdoor Adventure is located at 7040 Whitewater River Lane Brookville, Indiana 47012. If you are driving from Cincinnati, take I-74 West and take the Brookville/West Harrison Exit 169. Turn left onto Route 52 heading west. Continue to head west on Route 52 until you get to the town of Brookville. You will see the I.G.A. grocery store on the right. Turn left at the traffic light at the I.G.A. grocery store, cross over the bridge and you will see the sign for Morgan’s. Turn right into the Morgan’s driveway. Get ready to enjoy the outdoors, eat food, and hang out with friends!
