Strange, because I thought that Rumola works with IE. Otherwise, you'll need
a pair of working eyes.

there is a paid service called Rumola that works fairly nicely. It costs
about $1 for a yearly subscription. It also works on most types of capchas
(there are at least 3 types that I know of where this isn't the case).
