You need to turn voiceover on and off as that is one of the bugs with when I did the nine iOS update it screwed up so voiceover on piping on a Bluetooth keyboard so you get double letters and all kinds of other things you don't want. So yeah turn over voiceover and turn it back on and that should clear up the double letter think as it was driving me nuts as well, until somebody told me what to do
