Hi Mary, I have the Plantronics hub and it doesn't do a whole lot extra, but I do use it to do some settings on it. Yes you can have two phones paired to the deivce and use them interchangably. I have my iPad and iPhone paired and I can use them just perfect. I hope this helps a little bit. Jenn
