Hi all, I am perplexed about how iMessage works. A friend of mine is in the US at the moment. He tells me that global roaming is not working so he is unable to use his phone for text messages or phone calls and has no internet access. On spec this morning I sent him an iMessage that he sent me one in reply. I thought the iPhone used either WiFi or phone to send the message. Please could somebody explain. how this works? Thanks as always for the help. Max.
