If you can get by until the September it will definitely be a good thing. We are only 3 months away from when Apple will announce the new phones this year and that would be the time to decide if you want to go with something like the iPhone SE which was just released recently and which is the same 4 inch size than the 5 and 5S (just a little larger than your 4S which has a 3.5 inch screen) or if you want to get the next size up which would be the 6S and I presume iPhone 7 that is going to be announced. Nobody really knows if Apple may not even announce an update the SE, they once released a new iPad in the spring, made a big deal of it and then released a new one again in October so I wouldn't put it past them to do this although it is not likely. Anyhow, if your 4S can last you have nothing to loose and will only benefit from waiting.
