The instructions I was given re getting VO to read, continuously, worked a
treat, but I want to
replace Karen, who is far from convincing to Alex.
I have been told to use the rotor and make Alex the reader for this book "The
Desperate, the Dying
and the Damned", but my rotor has only a few category choices on it: reading
speed,
characters/words, containers [whatever that means], and headings. That is
about the lot I think.
I did look for the rotor in settings, but I couldn't find it [I looked under
general/accessability/voices,, but the phone is playing hide and seek with me,
and the phone is
winning!

No, you can't use VDR to read iBooks. I never was successful buying my books
from within the iBooks
app. What I do is buy the book in iTunes then when I open iBooks the book is
there. iBooks may be
read with any voice to which VO has access.
